We couldn’t run PTA events and fundraisers without the help of family and community members! The PTA and schools have one-time and regular volunteer opportunities; tasks that can be done at home, at the schools or at a PTA event.
Spring 2019 Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer to set-up or clean-up the events organized to show the teachers how much we appreciate them. You can also choose to provide fruit or juice for their Monday breakfast.
|We are looking for volunteers to help us during STEM Night on February 1st at Kings Glen from 5:00pm to 8:15pm (actual event runs from 6-8pm). STEM Night is a fun, family-friendly event that sparks passion for STEM through activities and experiments for BOTH students and their families!|
|And if you’re concerned about the experiment part—don’t worry! You do NOT need any science experience to help staff this event. Even if you lead a station, we will have easy-to-follow guides that explain exactly what to do in a step by step breakdown. In addition to working at these stations, we also need volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up. |

The 2018 Ice Cream Social & Community Resource Fair provides a sweet frozen treat while giving families the opportunity to learn about various after-school and community programs. This year the event is Friday, September 14 from 5:30-7:00pm at the Kings Glen Playground/Blacktop. We need your help to make the event run smoothly. The more ice cream scoopers we have, the faster the lines will move. The volunteer times are short to ensure you have time to spend with your families. Feel free to volunteer for more than one slot if you are available.
