The Kings Park/Kings Glen PTA is now accepting requests for start-up costs reimbursement from teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.
We are pleased to be able to offer this option in August. Due to planning during the last financial year, we can reimburse a limited number of requests prior to our budget being approved at the first general PTA membership meeting in mid-September. That means you can get your money quicker than before!
Each full-time teacher is eligible for a $100 reimbursement for classroom supplies. Part-time teachers are eligible at a prorated rate of $20/day.
We will not reimburse for sales tax. Please take that into consideration when calculating your totals.
In order to comply with National PTA and IRS regulations for non-profits, we require receipts in order to issue reimbursement.
Checks will be delivered to the schools on a weekly basis starting the first week of school. Providing receipts electronically will ensure a quicker receipt of your check. If receipts are received by Sunday morning, you should expect to receive a check in your mailbox no later than Wednesday morning. Paper receipt submissions will have at least a week delay before check delivery.
Note: Reimbursements will be given until allotted funds in the PTA budget are depleted.
Checks must be cashed within a month of issuance. Thank you for your cooperation on this point as we work to keep PTA funds working for our schools!
Deadline for Submission is November 30, 2024.
An online form must be submitted. There are no paper forms this year.
Receipts can be sent in .pdf, .jpeg, .png, or .heic file formats. There are three options for submitting your receipts: upload file directly within form (preferred), email file to [email protected] (preferred) or via submission to PTA drawer/mailbox.
