Fun Run – Friday, September 27

The Kings Park/Kings Glen PTA’s Fun Run program will kick off with a pep rally on Monday, September 16 and will conclude with the Fun Run on Friday, September 27. During the 9-day program, family and friends from anywhere in the world can support our schools by donating pledges toward the number of laps your child will complete on the day of the Fun Run!

Regardless of financial participation, every student is invited to participate in the entire Fun Run program. Each student will receive a Fun Run t-shirt the day of the run and students also receive a gift at the pep rally, and a FREE gift just by registering on

Boosterthon is continuing last year’s character theme, MIND SPARK MYSTERY LAB—a mystery theme that combines S.T.E.A.M. skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math)—with all of last year’s favorite characters moving into the wild west!

What is the purpose of this fundraiser?

For going on six years, the Fun Run has remained one of our PTA’s largest fundraising efforts. Funds raised over the past few years paid for five new drinking fountains/water bottle filling stations in the schools, the installation of multiple new ceiling projectors in the Kings Park classrooms, as well as field trips, technology and student planners. Your continued support will allow for more improvements in our schools.

The PTA continues to work to reduce our costs involved with the fundraiser, and to minimize disruption to instruction time for teachers and students.

Volunteers Needed

Many volunteers are needed throughout the program to make it a success.

  • Daily morning Volunteers to distribute prizes (Sept. 17 – Sept. 26)
