Purpose: Baskets & Bingo 2025 is an annual Spring fundraiser put on by the Kings Park/Kings Glen PTA for the purpose of raising funds to support our schools. The event will be held in a hybrid format with the ability to pre-purchase tickets or virtually place tickets in the raffle online and an in-person event at Lake Braddock Secondary School on March 21st.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Kings Park Kings Glen PTA, as final and binding as it relates to the content.
Online Event Period: Entries will be accepted online and tickets for the in-person event will be available for pre-purchase. All online transactions must be completed before the deadline. Due to timing, there may be baskets or experiences available the night of the event that are not available virtually. Images and descriptions on the site are representative.
Pre-Purchasing Tickets: Tickets will be available for pickup at the event and need to be physically dropped into the raffle containers by the purchasers.
Virtually Entering Raffle: Virtually placed tickets will be combined with the in-person tickets the day of the event.
In-Person Event Period: Guests will be able to drop tickets into baskets on the night of the event. Tickets purchased in advance will be available for pickup beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Drawing: Basket winners will be drawn at random during the in-person event on 21 March. Winners of teacher experience raffles will be drawn at random following the conclusion of the event and will be notified via email the week of March 24th, 2025.
Winners List: The basket winners will be announced at the event following the conclusion of the drawings. The full list of winners will also be listed on the PTA website, in the PTA Facebook group and via the PTA newsletter after all winners have been notified.
Pick-Up of Winning Items: Winners do not need to be present to win. Basket winners who are present are requested to pick up their basket before the conclusion of the in-person event. Those that are not present will coordinate with the PTA to find a mutually acceptable time for pickup. Items cannot be shipped or mailed to the winners. Winners who fail to claim their prize within thirty (30) days from the date the winner is announced, will forfeit the prize. Kings Park Kings Glen PTA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award unclaimed prizes to an alternate winner or not to award the unclaimed prizes.
Payments: Credit Cards and cash will be accepted onsite the day of the event. Credit Card transactions made onsite will be subject to a transaction fee.
Multi-children Families: For online purchases only, if you are purchasing tickets to be divided between multiple family members, we recommend purchasing tickets for each child in separate transactions and noting the child’s name during checkout.
Staff Experiences: Experiences may be limited to students in the class, grade, and/or school offering the experience and will be noted as such with the description. We ask that you only submit your tickets for these baskets if you or your student meet the eligibility requirements for the basket. Winners not meeting the eligibility requirement(s) may be voided.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each basket prior to the drawing date.
